Use of AI

What parts of your projects will use AI generated content?

We accept the three certainties in a pirate’s life: Davy Jones’ Locker (Death), Plunder (Taxes), and Parley. But, we’re also firm believers in adapting to change in order to fit the needs of the crew. That being said, we’re all about using industry available tools and technology available to us, including Artificial Intelligence (“AI”), in a responsible and ethical manner. We’ve made use of, and will continue to make use of, AI-generated content. Our toolkit includes the latest from MidJourney and the Adobe Suite, which our designer has wielded to craft ideas, concepts, illustrations, and marketing materials for Rogue Skull Games. Technology is ingrained in our very essence, and while our games feature a mix of human and AI-generated content, nothing is purely AI-created. We acknowledge and accept the Creative Commons licensing of AI-generated image components that contribute to our projects. However, it’s crucial to understand that everything we present in its entirety and final form (including game cards, packaging, marketing materials, etc.) holds the legal copyright of Rogue Skull Games LLC.

Do you have the consent of owners of the works that were (or will be) used to produce the AI generated portion of your projects?

We either own or possess a full license for all images utilized in our AI-assisted image creation process. We were not part of the development or creation of any of the AI-enabled tools mentioned above. For additional information on the business practices of these AI tools, please consult their respective references.
